Tämänkertainen pipo on tehty alpakkalangoista, jotka jäivät yli kahdesta aiemmasta pipoprojektista, napaseutupiposta ja hurrikaanipiposta. Lisäksi mukana on hieman itsekehrättyä alpakkalankaa. Hupaisaa oli huomata, että vaikka kaupan alpakkalangat ovatkin suorastaan ylellisen pehmeitä, on itsekehrätty vielä pehmeämpää. Mallina käytin Ravelrystä löytynyttä Scrappy Gems Fair Isle- pipoa. Jouduin kuitenkin muuttamaan kirjoneuleraitoja hieman, koska en onnistunut laisinkaan arvioimaan, paljonko lankaa niitä varten pitäisi varata. Ensimmäinen on ylipitkä ja toinen puolet aiotusta.

This hat is made of alpaca yarns left over from two earlier hats, the hyperwarm hat and the hurricane hat. These were supplemented with some handspun alpaca. It amused me to realise that while the shop bought alpacas were luxuriously soft, the hand spun was even softer. I used the Ravelry pattern Scrappy Gems Fair Isle hat, but had to change the stranded patterns a bit, since I was absolutely rubbish at estimating how much yarn I'd need for them. The first one is way too long and the second hat to be cut in half.
