Palmikoiden - Cables Galore

Palmikoita en tähän mennessä ole juuri kutonut, eivät ole sujuneet oikein sovinnolla ja olen hieman vältellyt. Päätin kuitenkin rohkeana syödä rokan ja tarttua tarttua palmikkopuikkoa sarvista, kun halusin tehdä kaverille palveluksista kiitokseksi jotain pientä lämmittävää. Ohjeena Swirling Gauntlets, joka on kokonaisuudessaan saatavilla Ravelrystä. Lankana on Hjertegarnin Blend Bamboo, väri 1361.

Kyllä, tiedän valokuvan olevan hieman omituinen, yksin kun kuvasin niin muuta konstia en keksinyt, kuin kuvata molemmat kädet erikseen ja sitten leikkaaliimata ne yhdeksi kuvaksi.

I've been sort of avoiding cabling so far, I haven't quite got the hang of it and it's felt a bit awkward. This time I decided to jump into the deep end and grab the cabling needle by the horns, since I felt a friend of mine deserved a little something to keep warm. I used the pattern for the Swirling Gauntlets, which is available for free (in English) on Ravelry. The yarn was Hjertegarn Blend Bamboo, colour 1361.

Yes, I'm aware that the pic is a bit wonky, but I was photographing by myself and I could only photograph one hand at a time, so I cut and pasted the two hands into the same pic.
