Specials and Trials

Nämä ovat olleet valmiina jo jonkin aikaa, mutta tietokoneen hajoamisen vuoksi en ole päässyt niistä kuvia esille laittamaan. Ja saman ongelman takia en myöskään ole ehtinyt tehdä mitään uutta. Ei uskoisi kuinka paljon aikaa ja energiaa menee tietokoneen korjaamisyritysten järjestämiseen ja niiden epäonnistuttua uuden hankkimiseen.
Noh, ehkä tämä tästä. Työn alla on itse asiassa pari aika mielenkiintoista projektia, mutta ne tulevat esille sitten kun sen aika on.

I finished these some time ago, but due to what proved to be an irreparable hardware failure, I haven't had the chance to put up pics. You wouldn't believe how much time and energy it takes to arrange computer repairs and after they fail, having to find a new one. Good grief I'm glad I'm past that one. I'm also working on a couple of rather interesting trinkets, but more of those at another date.

Tämä on tehty nettitutulle, nuorelle naiselle josta on hyvää vauhtia kasvamassa oikein kunnon riivinrauta. Nettimumma on oikein ylpeä.

The Amazing World of Polymer Clay

En koskaan ole koskenut polymeerisaveen aiemmin. Ja sen huomaa. Mutta alku hankala, harjoitus ja mestarit jne. Halusin aloittaa kokeilemalla marmorointia ja käytin tilaisuutta hyväkseni käyttääkseni kärjestä hajonneet pisarahelmet jotenkin (ei, en osaa heittää mitään pois). Tähteet sekoitin kaikki yhteen psykedeeliseksi värisotkuksi ja kokeilin peilikuvatekniikkaa.
Ehkä nämä vielä tästä paranevat...

Never touched polymer clay before. And you can tell. But hard starts, practice and perfect and all that crap. I wanted to start by trying out marbling and used the opportunity to utilise some teardrop beads with broken tips (yes, I am incapable of throwing anything away). The leftovers got rolled together into a psychecelic mix and used for the mirror technique.
Perhaps I'll someday get somewhere with this...
