How did this thing work again...

Huh, pitkästä aikaa täällä taas. Kaikki näyttää niin vieraalta...
Koruilu taas jäänyt vähemmälle, osittain niinkin maallisen syyn takia, etten ole saanut työpöytääni siivottua. Kyllä, olen laiska ****a.

TOIM HUOM: Uskoisin muistaneeni kiven lajin. Se on melko varmasti kirjomaasälpää.

------------

Good grief it's been a long time, everything seems so strange...
Jewellery fiddling has taken a back seat again in my life, partly for such a mundane reason that I haven't got around to clearing out my work desk. Yes, I'm a lazy bastard. Move along now.

However, before christmas someone commonly found in my immediate vicinity was faced again with a gift problem, and he persuaded me to put something together for his grandmom. And since the said grandmom is said to have good taste, I had to use proper materials this time.

So it's sterling silver and a stone bought from a little shop defying classifications. And the stone DID have a name tag on it, but for the life of me I can NOT remember what it was (please indulge me and let me know if you recognise its origins).

In the end the silver turned out to be a bit too hard for this type of thing, but the second silver I have would've been too thin and therefore much too soft... Oh well, can't win even every fifth thing.

EDIT: I think I remember the identity of the stone now. I'm relatively confident that it's graphic granite.

Triangulation

Rintaneula, jossa on myös rengas kaulaketjuun ripustamista varten.

A brooch (yes, BROOCH) with a ring at the back for also hanging it on a chain.
